A super tasty pizza! Nice, thin, crispy base. Pizza with spinach, I also ordered salmon. That was the best pizza for us. We always eat excellent here. Nice and friendly service. Kudos to the kitchen.

An aging, unkempt house. Bathrooms are out of the question. Comprehensive renovation is urgently needed here. Cobwebs in the corners. Sagging mattresses. I really don't recommend this house. If we left early, they wouldn't even ask why. Only the food in the hotel's own restaurant was good.

Landed here by accident. Lots of pizza and pasta dishes, but not only - the game ragout is highly recommended! Very tender and tasty.

Absolutely overwhelmed, unfriendly staff who, when asked for cutlery, plumbed customers with a lot of drama in front of everyone. Then you can be told by the manager of the house (who obviously does not have the shop under control) that you would be more to blame yourself because you are too impatient. The second star is for good food.

I only rate the dinner and the service: There were two of us there, my companion ordered a steak with sauce and a side dish and I ordered a marinated goat cheese with a baguette and salad and - since that was just a starter - side vegetables. There is no full meal without meat on the German menu. To cut a long story short: the goat cheese was Camembert, the baguette was toast and the vegetables on the side were loveless beans - with bacon. So a disaster. I pointed out to the waitress afterwards that I didn't get any goat cheese and that it wasn't great if one of the few vegetarian dishes on the menu served vegetables with meat. The waitress said it would be passed on to the kitchen, but no apology was given and no compensation was offered to me. For the "goat cheese" (3 small camemberts) + a few leaves of lettuce and two dry slices of toast, I paid 9 euros. Doesn't work at all. The dish of my companion was probably very tasty, so I would have given a total of 2.5 stars. But there is half a star less because none of the waitresses wore a mask properly and our table was only disinfected after we were shown our seat. Tl; dr: Vegetarians, people who do not want to eat meat and those to whom the Corona rules are important for whatever reason should avoid this restaurant. Probably good for avid meat eaters.

Food was good, wine as well, service very nice, but sometimes "one-eyed" ... The room was clean and pleasant, the cars with their engines running in front of the terrace were just as annoying as the tractor with its diesel exhaust fumes in front of the room. But the hotel can't do anything about that. We will be back.

We stayed there for three nights, overall we were satisfied. + nice little wine house with a cozy terrace + Restaurant with an Italian touch, the food was good + there is a large selection of regional wines + friendly and helpful staff + Ebikes can be borrowed from the hotel + There is a cocktail bar in the basement + Location is good, only a few minutes' walk to the Moselle (very beautiful Moselle loop near Leiwen) - Bathrooms in the rooms are in need of a bit of renovation. The rest of the room is new and modern - a bit noisy rooms - Breakfast buffet could have had more selection / variety All in all good value for money, we would come again.

The assessment is a little difficult for me. In the first room the WiFi didn't work, so we wanted to swap. At the reception we were first told that it couldn't be and that it must be due to the weather !? The lady was very stressed by the evening restaurant operation and then simply left us standing and was no longer seen. After a while and several rings of the doorbell came a colleague who was overwhelmed with the allocation of a new room and handed it over to a nice colleague, albeit stressed, with the words, this is your thing. We got a nice little room under the roof with a balcony. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until late at night that some slats in the slatted frame of a bed had jumped out. But the mattresses were so much too soft. The restaurant seems to be popular, but we didn't use it because of the experience with the stressed staff. But the check out was really positive. The lady was very nice and calm. We got another bottle of wine because of the inconvenience with the bed.

The food was super good. Very nice service. Toilet in the basement but extra elevator for the handicapped. We can really recommend it

We had a great meal here for not a lot of money. 5 adults 1 child 4 years and 1 baby. For the child they had coloring and a special (cheap) menu but it was a lot for him he had a pizza. There was a lot of very good tasting meat and sauces. So much choice on the menu unbelievable! Fish, meat and pasta. We ate a great meal. No vegetables on the table though. We did get everything we asked for and how we asked it.

Hotel Weis is located in the Römerstraße where you will find most of the restaurant in Leiwen. The service is good and the food is delicous.
